Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Mrs. Gina M. Fraga has first-hand knowledge of the challenges faced by many immigrant families as her father fled Cuba’s communism. She is a double-Gator as she obtained a bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Florida and was later awarded a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the same institution. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida by the Florida Supreme Court and is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Southern District Court of Florida. She often says that Immigration Law chose her because of her innate passion for helping others. Her legal career began in 2007 as an associate for a boutique immigration law practice that specialized in the area of Immigration and Nationality Law. In 2012 she opened her own office with a satellite location in San Juan, Puerto Rico where she has devoted her entire practice to the area of Immigration and Nationality law.
Mrs. Fraga is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and in this capacity serves as a committee member at large to the AILA South Florida West Palm Beach USCIS Committee and the Homeland Security Investigations Committee. She is passionate about providing pro bono legal representation to children and women who are the victims of domestic abuse and serves her community by providing countless pro-bono hours to charitable organizations such as the Legal Aid Society of PBC and the Guatemalan-Maya Center in Lake Worth, Florida. She also participates as a member of the Palm Beach County Hispanic Bar Association and of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County.
In addition to managing a heavy caseload, a law practice and serving as a volunteer in the above-mentioned capacities, Mrs. Fraga is a mom to a very active 3-year-old. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, visiting Puerto Rico and the beach.
